are these D1 and D2 same ?
how to check ?
is there some easy checking rule ?
i read converting rows to column does not alter determinant value....but there are some sign stuff ...is not it.

this thing is complex.

can you please simplify this concept.

thanks

for D1, use the elements in the first column and evaluate the determinant using the associated minors for each element ...

|D1| = x1(y2 - y3) - x2(y1 - y3) + x3(y1 - y2)

for D2, use the elements in the first row and evaluate the determinant using the associated minors for each element ...

|D2| = x1(y2 - y3) - x2(y1 - y3) + x3(y1 - y2)

you get the same determinant.
