I love the original movie, but I have concerns about the plot. Klaatu did not tell
the woman to say the line to Gort twice. (I suppose she said it twice to Gort because she was scared and unsure.) I can imagine a couple of scenarios
where Gort communicates something back to the woman after she has said
this two times in a row.

Scenario 1) Gort: "I'm not deaf. I heard you the first time."

or

Scenario 2) Gort: "Saying it twice acts like a toggle switch. My termination
of the Earth was only delayed. I will be coming back to finish the job."

I never really understood the main idea. Klaatu comes down here to tell us "Hey, you're too dangerous. Stop it!" and someone shoots him. Shouldn't he have expected something like this to happen?
