what is the area of a circle with circumference 18 pi centimeters? Give your answer in terms of pi.
my solution:
18 pi = 2 pi
18 pi/2 pi = 2pi/2pi
9 pi = radius

C = pi (9)^2
c = 81 pi

what is wrong with my solution-thank you for your help

if the circumference = 18pi So

18pi = 2piR

divide both side by pi

18=2R

R=9

the area of a circle = piR^2

using R
A=pi(9)^2
A=81pi
