Can someone show me how to demonstrate in writing the
RELATIONSHIP OF CIRCUMFERENCE & DIAMETER TO Pi ?

here is the formule there are two:

pi= 3.14(i cant find the sign on my keyboard)

pi * diameter or pi * r(squared)

the radius is twice the diametr so u can use either one if they just give you radius you can double it and use the diameter formula it is easier to caculate...........hope i helped

diameter = 2*radius

circumference = pi*diameter = pi*(2*radius)

radius = diameter/2

area = pi*(radius)<sup>2</sup> = pi*(diameter/2)<sup>2</sup>

[pi]r2 is the formula for area of a circle, not the circumference.

for any circle ... pi = C/d.

Thanks for the help, what is is , is that I have to do some drawings of different things relating to pi on a t-shirt (Math project), I also found this,
to show th relationship of circumference & diameter to pi

circumference distance around
---------------- ------------------ = pi
diameter distance across

what do you think? should this be ok?

Here is the most interesting fact about pi I know:
\(\displaystyle \L
e^{i\pi } + 1 = 0\).
