I've tried to use trigonometry rules (cosine rule and sine rule) for the the 2 triangle AOC and COB but i cant seem to get the ans.

Not sure why uou think angle ACO = angle OBC ??
Can you see that the two small triangles are isosceles?

YEs i can see that the 2 small triangles are isosceles
