Ques. A circle is of radius 1cm, if the diameter of circle is increased by 100%, then it's area is increased by-
a)150%
b)200%
c)300%
and I was stuck here⬇
r = 1cm So, d = 2cm
d is increased by 100% so d2 = 4cm
And r2 =2cm.
Ratio of areas= 1/4
What to do next???

If the area is increased from 1 to 4, how much is it increased? What percent increase is that?
