Greetings Mathematicians,

I was wondering if somebody could please look at my work for this problem [20((sin5t)^2)]/[t^2].

I attached a copy of my work (sorry that my pencil marks are a little light).

Any and all comments, helps, advice, wisdom, etc is appreciated.

1. Where does the x come from? The variable in the original post is t.

2.Your calculations are OK.

3. You can cancel x, if \(\displaystyle x \ne 0\).

4. Instead of factoring out the term sin(5x) you can use the property: \(\displaystyle 2 \sin(a) \cdot \cos(a) = \sin(2a)\)
But that depends on what you have to calculate next.

Thank you Pappus!

1. I replaced t with x when I solved it (I have made many mistakes thinking t was a plus sign)

2. Great!

3. That is all I had to calculate for this problem.
