Change 124 3/5° to degrees and minutes.

Okay, so at first I multiplied 3/5 by 60, but then I wasn't sure if I did it correctly. So, my answer was 124°36' is that correct?

Change 84°50' to degrees.

I did not learn, or I did not pay attention in class to know how to change that in degrees! My best guess was to divide 60 into 50... to get .8333 (continuation), So now, I'm confused to how to change that into a fraction, or if I should leave it like that... or if I'm doing this incorrectly.

THANKS
