Can You Put A Cubed Root Inside Another Cubed Root?

I'm trying to find f(f(x)) and my equation is the cubed root of 3(x-1)
Unless i am doing something wrong, i have to put a cubed root inside a cubed root, is that possible?

there ain't nuttin' wrong with [x^(1/3)]^(1/3)

or with {[x^(1/3)]^(1/3)}^(1/3) ....
