can you help me answer this question? 2x+3y+z=6

Re: can you help me answer this question?

Got some graph paper?
What grade are you in?

Re: can you help me answer this question?

I am unclear what you mean by trace, but graphing that equation requires a 3-dimensional graph where the x intercept is (6/2) or 3
and the y intercept is (6/3) or 2 and finally the z intercept is (6/1) or 6.

Thus when you graph this you end up with a small portion of a plane that goes on infinitely in all directions but passes through the points (3,0,0) and (0,0,2) and (0,0,6).

When these points are connected and shaded in you will see a triangular region representing the entire plane.

Thanks but I need the other part of the answer too.
Find the of the trace.

Definition of trace-a line; a plane intersects one of the coordinate plane in a line
