s=22,500-(150)sqrd/15

15-1

22500/15= 1500

1500/14= 107.143

answer=107.143

CONGRATS clueless: NOBODY has been able to confuse
me more than you just did!

I concur. This forum does not space spaces so either use the 'code' tags or just use lots of brackets.

Maybe
Code:
      22500 - (150^2)/15
s^2 = ------------------
            15-1
This may mean:
The sum of squares is 22500
The sum of the data is 150
The sample size is 15
You are trying to calculate the sample variance.

I get s2 = 1500 and s = 38.73 You seem to be having problems with the Order of Operations.

Please take the advice of the previous two responses and try a little harder to write clearly. Glad to have you with us.

You've answered: (22500 / 15) / 14 correctly...
SOOOOOOO: what's that "(-150)sqrd" doing there ?
