^2 is power to the two by the way

Any help goes appreciated

15-[3+(5-1)-(7-2)[sup:7k4s1954]2[/sup:7k4s1954]]

Do the grouping symbols first working from the inside out. You have to follow the order of operations convention in so doing.
5-1=?
7-2=?
Next you want to combine the terms inside the brackets, but before doing so you have to do the exponent.
Then you can combine the terms inside the brackets and follow that with combining the remaining terms.
My calculator says the answer is somewhere between 30 and 35.

If you need more help on problems like this, google "order of operations".

15-[3+(5-1)-(7-2)^2]

I did 5-1 = 4
I did 7-2= 5

15 + (-7) + (25) = 15 + 18 = 33

I got 33 as answer? :?:
