Hi peeps, this is my first post. Id like to say it's an intelligent maths question, but the truth is its more a sudo maths question
So I'll demonstrate my question with an example and provide the sudo formula for the "calculation "
THE ""Formula ""
day of birth + month + year = Y
day of birth + month = A
At Y a persons age is always A
Example birthdate 18/5/2010 Y= 2033
18+5 = 23 A = 23
In 2033 age is 23
Can anyone explain how this works?
Ive tried it on many birthdates and it is always the right age

That's easy: Substituting the second equation into the first, A + year = Y. So on your birthday in year Y, your age (which is the current year minus your birth year) will be Y - year = A.

In your example, you just added 23 to your birth year to get 2033, so you'll be 23 in that year. (It won't work before your birthday, of course.)

By the way, I think you meant "pseudo".

@DR Paterson
Thank you, your explanation was clear
Now that you pointed it out it's obvious, HOORAY for maths
Ps yes your right, i did mean pseudo ☺

It may also be understood by putting
A=random number
Y=A + birth year
Yes, adding your age to birth year gets the year that you will be that age!
