Can you please let me know if this is wrong... or is my study partner wrong... here is the question

this is 3 fractions subtracted with exponents...

8x/x-2 - 2x-4/2-x - 8x/x-2

I am coming up with 18x-4/x+2 My friend is saying it is the same but it would be 18x+4... Please let me know what you all think..... soon as possible...

There are NO exponents; what do you mean "with exponents"??

1st term and last term are same; so that leaves middle term only...

Ask someone who KNOWS how to post properly to show you how...
as it stands, your question makes no sense

8x/(x - 2) - (2x - 4)/(2 - x) - 8x/(x - 2) = 8x/(x - 2) + (2x - 4)/(x - 2) - 8x/(x - 2) = (2x - 4)/(x - 2) = 2(x - 2)/(x - 2) = 2, provided that x ? 2.

I did this same problem for someone yesterday... :|
