What is the 2007th digit after the period in the expansion of 1/7 ?
\(\displaystyle \dfrac{1}{7}=0.142857\,142857\,142857\,142857\,142857\,142857\,142857\,142857\cdots\)
There are six distinct digits in the repeating blocks. By simply counting, what is the fifteenth digit in the expansion?
Look at this: \(\displaystyle [15 \mod 6]=3\). Did you find that the fifteenth digit is a \(\displaystyle 2~?\) Note that two is the third digit in the repeating block.
