evaluate 5e^(-0.04X^2-0.04y^2) dxdy ( limit of integration is - infinity to positive infinity both dx and dy). note that this is an improper integral, so you should use correct notation.
This is my homework problem. I know we can use polar. But I am stuck about imprpper integral. Please help me to evaluate it.

So transform this into polar co-ordinate system - it becomes fairly simple antiderivetive.
