e. y= 3e^(x^2 - 2x)

Hello Haze:

Please show your work so far, so that we may see what help you need.

For example, do you understand the Power Rule and the Chain Rule?

Exercises (d) and (f), in particular, are very straightforward when you understand these rules.

Use the Power Rule first, then apply the Chain Rule.

Begin by rewriting the expressions using exponents, as follows.

(3x + 1)^(1/2)

(4x^2 - 3)^(-1)

Please show your work on these two exercises, and we can take it from there.

Cheers,

~ Mark :)
