Hello, I have a general question.
When we write something like [0 , infinity) (sorry I don't know how to write an infinity symbol on this software) or something like "the limit as x approaches infinity" in lower level courses, students are always warned to be carful when writing the infinity symbol as it is not actually a number but a general concept. Would it be more appropriate to write the ordinal number omega? For instance [0 , omega) or "The limit as x approaches omega". (again sorry, I don't know how to write a lowercase omega symbol)
