Hello, I've copied the problem directly. I posted a picture of my work and honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The answer I submitted is incorrect.

A single person with taxable income of $89614 will have the first $9,525 of that income taxed at a different rate than the income between $9,525 and $38,700. The first bracket is taxed at 10%, the second is taxed at 12% Determine the taxes owed on just the second bracket.

The answer I came up with is $4,644.

The second bracket is any excess of 9,527 but below 38,700. Meaning the taxable amount of the second bracket is 38,700-9,527=29,173.
