Hello, thank you in advance for your time and help.

I am trying to determine the following but not sure it’s possible, or maybe I’m making an easy solution difficult :/. A through G each have a weighted % based on their volume in a year. They have a goal where the desired outcome should average to 48. Can I determine what the minimum number of each A-G should obtain to reach the average goal of 48 based on their weighted %? Or am I missing a data point in order to calculate this? Or maybe the answer is the minimum is 48 for each ?

A - 51.62%
B - 20.35%
C - 6.66%
D - 7.68%
E - 7.14%
F - 4.41%
G - 2.14%

It is impossible. Let's take a simpler example. A has a weight of 60% and B has a weight of of 40%. We want numbers that will make the weighted average come out to 48. One possible answer is the number of A is 40 and the number of B is 60. Another possible answer is B is zero and A is 80.

To put it more generally, you have not specified nearly enough constraints to determine a unique answer. You are not missing a single data point, but many.
