Can Anyone help me understand this? Appreciate!

Let ([0, 1], F, ?) be a probability space, where F = Bn[0, 1], class consisting of all Borel sets included by interval [0, 1], and ? is the Lebesgue measure. Show that mapping
S : [0, 1] ? B
x?[2x+1,4-x]
is a pre-random set, where B is the Borel field, Then find the falling shade of S
