I have three problems I can't seem to get... I have no clue how to start them and how to finsih them off...
1.

12x^2 (squared) + 6x -6
---------------------
4(x+1)

all multiplied by

6x-3
--------
2x+10

for this one I am supposed yo simplify expressions... these all deal with rational expressions.

2.

5
-------------- +
x^2-3x-25

all added to

7
-----
2x-14

this one I am supposed to simplify it when dealing with adding and subtracting rational expressions

3.

3y
--------
2+y

subtracted by

5
----
7 all equals 4

I am supposed to find the LCD for each equation. The state whether the values should be excluded as possible solutions. Then just solve the equation and check my solution.

I would REALLY appreciate the help!!! :!:

1.

(12x^2+6x-6)(6x-3)
---------------------------- =
4(x+1)(2x+10)

18(2x^2+x-1)(2x-1)
------------------------- =
8(x+1)(x+5)

18(2x-1)(x+1)(2x-1)
--------------------------- =
8(x+1)(x+5)

9(2x-1)^2
-------------
4(x+5)

2.
5
---------- +
x^2-3x-25

7
----- =
2x-14

(5(2x-14)+7(x^2-3x-25))/((x^2-3x-25)(2x-14)) =

(10x-70+7x^2-21x-175)/(2(x^2-3x-25)(x-7) =

(7x^2-11x-245)/(2(x^2-3x-25)(x-7))
Wow, starts messy and stays messy. Are you sure about the problem?

3.

3y
-------- minus
2+y

5
--- = 4
7

3y/(2+y) = 33/7
y/(2+y)=11/7
7y=22+11y
-4y=22
y=-22/4 = -11/2
