Another word problem! Any help is greatly appreciated.

A six-passenger plane cruises at 180 mph in calm air. If the plane flies 7 miles with the wind in the same amount of time as it flies 5 miles against the wind, then what is the wind speed? Thanks!!

Use the standard "d = rt" formulation, noting that headwinds get subtracted from speedometer readings, and tailwinds get added.

If you get stuck, please reply showing all of the steps and reasoning you have tried thus far.

Thank you.

Eliz.
