Greetings Mathematicians, I am currently working on my very first hw practice of the substitution rule. I was wondering if somebody could please suggest to me the best way to start the problem attached. Thank you!Screen shot 2012-04-14 at 9.20.50 PM.jpg
 
That's good. What's next?

Hint: If u = x + 1, then x = u - 1.

Note: When changing variables, don't forget to change your limits. Thos original ones are for 'x'. What are they for 'u'?

Your square root seems to have managed to disappear into the wind. Put it back!
