Okay I would just like to know if I have solved these problems correctly becuase I'm not sure if I totally understand.

1. g(x) = 3x -1 and I got g'(x) = 3?
2. y = t^2 + 2t - 3 >>> y' = 2t + 2? If that is incorrect, which I hope it isn't, then would it be y' = 2t - 1?
3. f(t) = -2t^2 + 3t - 6 >>> f'(t) = -4t + 3? This problem is similar to #2 so if I am wrong, would it be f'(t) = -4t - 3?
4. y = 8 - x^3 >>> This is the main one I am confused on. Do I basically ignore the 8? And it would therefore become y' = -3x^2?
