Basic Algebraic exponential formula. Solve ((X/287,173.53)^1/10)-1=.865, w/ proof

I have a pretty basic formula that I can't solve on my own. I need proof so please provide. I'm sure there's smarter people than me on here that can help.

((X/287,173.53)^1/10)-1=.865
You will need a calculator with an exponent button. Have one?

1) Add 1
2) Raise to the 10th power.
3) Multiply be 287173.53
 
((X/287,173.53)^1/10)-1=.865
You don't having matching parentheses. You don't need that extra parenthesis
in front. You do need grouping symbols around that fractional exponent:

(X/287,173.53)^(1/10) - 1 = .865
