I'm calculating price elasticity, QTY, and revenue. But I don't understand why price point 2 + 1,8 + 1,6 etc are negative values.
Can anyone explain the logic here?
There is no way that anyone can explain a set of numbers. There are an infinite set of finite lists of numbers. For all we know, this set came from a random number generator. Where did these numbers come from? What do we know about them?
I agree it looks odd that quantities are negative. Are they deltas?
Let me share more details. I have tried to highlight how this is done:
First the -19,09 is calculated (-31,8%/1,7%)
After the 609.198 is calculated ((408.666/(1+-32,9%))
Where are you getting these numbers? In essence, you have provided a list of numbers that make absolutely no sense: quantities can never be negative. And then you ask what sense do they make? None.
How did you get these numbers? The divisions by zero indicate that you were calculating them. On what basis? With what formula? Why that formula? What in the world is the actual problem you were given.
