Hello I have tryed to do the work but I cant get the right answer so thats when I come on here and ask to see if anyone can help me out. I am sorry for putting so many problems on this web page. I just thought someone could help me out. I have always had a very had time with math and I am just looking for some help. I hope everyone understands.

The questions I asked were intended to lead you toward the answer. I know your textbook has some examples. I know it mentions some bases. I know you're familiar with the "regular" (base-10) number system.
So, working from that knowledge and reviewing what information you have, you can discern the pattern. You will then be able answer the question "how many digits?" for any base n. :wink:
