I need help, heres my problem:

John Lee wants to find out his balance at the end of the month using the following information.

checking account balance at the beginning of the month: 2000
money deposited during the month:775
money withdrawn during the month: 1200

next month
checking account balance at the beginning of the month:500
money deposited during the month:100
money withdrawn during the month:610

Can I ask one more thing. How did you get -1,200 and -610?

Or is it suppose to be 2000+775, then subtract this answer from 1,200?

Whe you withdraw the money you take the money away.
For example:
Morgan has a total of 500 dollars in her checking account.
Deposited: 1,450 dollars
Withdrawn: 250 dollars
Total at the end of the month:

$500
+$1450
-$250
$1700
