average rate of change for each function over the given interal

y=sqrt(3x-2) between x=1 and x=2

f(1) = sqrt(3*1-2) = 1

f(2) = sqrt(3*2-2) = sqrt(6-2) = sqrt(4) = 2

average rate of change formula f(b)-f(a)/b-a

f(2)-f(1)/2-1

for some reason I am missing a part because I get 1/1 or 1

what am I missing?

Work on your notation a bit: (f(b)-f(a))/(b-a), but other than that what do you think you are missing? Why do you think you are missing anything?
