ok i am doing a problem

F=G*m_1m_2/r^2
*the m_1m_2 are being all divided by r^2

so i tried getting fid of the fraction by multiplying r^2 by both sides and it didnt work
i tried divided by r^2 but i didnt think the answer would have been right i got r=G-m_1m_2

Make your life easier: a = m_1 , b = m_2

F = Gab / r^2
r^2 = Gab / F
r = SQRT(Gab / F) ; kapish?

Viva Le Canada!
I notice "baseball" in your screen-name:
My grandson Tyler (now little league - big league division) batted .633 (on base .782)
in the recent Ontario Provincials: winner to Canadian Nationals: winner to Easley,SC ;
but our team finished 2nd :cry:
Did better 2 years ago in Senior division: got to the Nationals; Tyler finished 11th
in batting average (.463) among the 6 teams.
