These questions are part of my calculus assignment. I really need help because its over due and I have no idea how to complete them.

These are quite advanced questions - it is hard to believe that you have gotten this far and don't know how to start! But a lot of people have trouble translating word problems from English to Algebra, so I will try to give you hints. For each of these, the first step should be to draw a sketch. Then assign unknowns.
1) Let h(t) = height of water in the trough at time t
.........A(t) = surface area at time t
What is the equation for Volume at time t?
2) Let P = price per room.
.........N(P) = number of rooms rented if price is P
Find a linear relation for N(P).
Total revenue is N(P)*P .. that is the function you have to maximize.
3) Definitely have to draw a picture for this one! Use similar triangles, or let the angle be a variable and use trig functions.
4) I notice that one of the straight differentiation questions mentions "logarithmic derivatives." That would be a good way to do this one:
......ln(Volume) = ln(length) + ln(width) + ln(height)
Then differentiate.
