Ok, I wrote out a few of the sequence and checked to make sure it is an arithmetic sequence so I should be able to use the sum formula:

S[subb80lrsd]n[/subb80lrsd] = (n(a[subb80lrsd]1[/subb80lrsd]+a[subb80lrsd]n[/subb80lrsd]))/2

S[subb80lrsd]32[/subb80lrsd] = (32(2+86))/2

S[subb80lrsd]32[/subb80lrsd]=1,408

The book says 1,276

Nevermind I just figured it out after I posted it. I was trying to figure it out for a half an hour, but posting it helped somehow...


N=29 not 32
