I really need help on these two questions

1) A rectangular prism with length 10, width 5, and height 3 find the L.A, T.A, and Volume.
I drew the prism, am i supposed to use the pythagoream theorem to find the other side? I don't get it.

2) The total area of a cube is 96cm^2 find the volume
I have no idea ow to do this one please help me in at least getting started

I would really appreciate your help :D

You have all three sides already!! You should have 3 sets of 2 identical sides.

Draw your cube. Lable all the edges "s". The volume is s^3. The total surface area is 6s^2.

Is there some reason why you do not know these formulas? It is not reasonable for you to have such an assignment without giving you this information. If you have heard of the Pythagorean Theorem, you must have missed the other stuff that you actually need for these problems.

The volume of a prism is the area of its base by its height.

The total area of a cube of side length x is \(\displaystyle 6x^2\). Can you solve the equation \(\displaystyle 6x^2 = 96\)?
