Area of shaded region

Sure we can help. What do you need help with? What have you tried? We will not do the problem for you as we want to help you! As already asked, what type of figure is it? Do you know how to compute the area of that type of figure? Why not break the figure into two triangles and one rectangle? Do you know the formula to calculate the area of a rectangle and triangle? You have to give us something so we know what type of help you need. Please post back.
