Can You Find The Percent Of Total Area Between Z = -2.49 And Z = 1.19 Under A Normal Curve That Is?
This is what I got but my instructor says it not right. What am I doing wrong?
Check the values of z in the area table under the unit normal curve:
Area under z = -2.49 is 0.4936
Area under z = 1.19 is 0.3880
Total area = 0.8816
Now, the total area under the normal curve is 1, and total area of z is 0.8816. This shows that percent of area between z = -2.49 and z = 1.19 is 88.16%.
