Hello,

I've stuck on this question for three days. Someone please help me with this question.

The number of hours needed to cook a turkey that weights x lb can be approximated by

t(x)=0.90root:5:(x^(3))

where t(x) is the time in hours and x is the weight of the turkey in pounds.Find the weight of a turkey that cooked for 4hr.

Thank you very much.

I tried it out, but it seems weird to me

Rewrite: \(\displaystyle \sqrt[5]{x^{3}} = x^{\frac{3}{5}}\)

Solution is then more obvious: \(\displaystyle \left(\frac{4}{0.90}\right)^{\frac{5}{3}} = x\)

Exploration: For what weights nad temperatures is this an appropriate guideline?
