Okay I get the answer just by knowing simple math, but to put it into an algebra questions is another thing. I have done several but this one and a few more have me stumped.

The Iditarod sled race extends for 1049 mi from Anchorage to Nome.

If a musher is twice as far from Anchorage as from Nome, how many miles has the musher travled.

Totally lost. Again I do not need the answer, I got that, but putting things into question format is not my forte
