Find the zeros of the polynomial function and state the multiplicity of each:

5x(x-7)^2(x^2-9)

the zeros: 7, 3, -3

multiplicity:

7 = 2

3 = 1

-3 = 1

is this correct and in the right format?

Since, to pick one "equality", seven does not equal two, this is unlikely to be a correctly formatting answer. It would likely be better to mimic the formatting used in your text (in the worked examples) and in class.

For instance, something along the lines of "7 with multiplicity 2; 3 with multiplity 1", etc, would probably be more acceptable.

Note: You appear to have overlooked one of the solutions.
