ive been trying different formulas on this problem for a while now and was wondering if anyone could help me find the answer without giving it to me.
(here it is)

Find area of an equilateral triangle with side of 8sqroot2.

Ive already tried to use the pythagorean theorm. i got confused so i used the 30-60-90 triangle thing. i still cant figure it out. would hero's formula work for this?

If S is the length of a side of an equilateral triangle then its area is \(\displaystyle A = \frac{{\sqrt 3 S^2 }}{4}\) .
