So Far I don't know how to solve this.?

<AOX + <XOP + <POB =180
i.e. 42 + 4x + <POB= 180

and
<AOQ + <QOY + <BOY =180
i.e. <AOQ + 6x + 24 =180

IN BOTH CASES WE HAVE TWO UNKNOWN VALUES.
 
if you have two unknowns and two equations, you can find them both

you have two options to use, substitution or elimination

i.e. <AOQ + 6x + 24 =180

Do you see that AOQ and POB are vertical angles? Call them y, and solve for x.

That is not true at all. Suppose one equation is 3x+4y =7. It clearly has two unknowns.
Now suppose the 2nd equation is 4u-11w = 13. This too has two unknowns.

In fact, the above system has two equations in 4 unknowns!

Assuming that the OP's equations are correct the system has two equations in three unknowns.

It does turn out that you can express one unknown in one eq in terms of one unknown in the other equation. My concern is that you never mentioned this.
