I have a odd question and really didn't know where to post it so here it goes:

Consider the word "post". I want you to compute the number of different possible anagrams of "post", ignoring for the moment whether they are actual English words or not. What I mean is to compute the number of four-letter strings that use each letter just once. (b) Draw a graph to figure out the list of all possible anagrams of "post".


I'm supposed to find 24 but I don't know how to get there.

There are 4 positions to fill - with four different letters.

How many different letters can fill up the first position?
