please help me understand how to solve these problems:


1: (x+2)(x-1)(x+7)>0

2: (x+3)^2 (x-4)^3 (x+1)<0

I know how to solve a basic problem like (2x+5)<19 but i don't know what to do with the other type.
Please help. thanx
