3to the 2nd power (6+2 divided by 2) 6(square rt of 9 + 2 divided by 2) that's the problem here's my answer...

9(4) 6(2.5)

36 15.0

36(15) = 540

Did I do this right?? thank you Terri

Too cold to bare...

Looks correct; expression seems to be:
3to the 2nd power (6+2 divided by 2) 6(square rt of 9 + 2 divided by 2) :
3^2 * ((6+2)/2) * 6 * ((sqrt(9)+2)/2)

Terri,

if I go by the order of operations, then I would take it as:

\(\displaystyle 3^2(6 + 2/2)(6)(\sqrt{9} + 2/2) =\)

\(\displaystyle 9(6 + 1)(6)(3 + 1) =\)

\(\displaystyle 9(7)(6)(4) =\)

\(\displaystyle 1,512\)

Otherwise, if you meant it by the way you did it, then your problem in words should be closer to:

"(3 to the 2nd power)((6 + 2) divided by 2)6((square root of (9) + 2) divided by 2)."

If I had your exact problem in front of me, then I could make the call.
