25(2x+1)^2=0
2x+1=0
2x=-1+0
x=-0.5 and x=-0.5
is this done correctly?

Why did you write it twice? Nothing about the second-to-last step suggests two answers.

my error, looking back to my work I only have it written once. I was doing this while in the middle of something else. Sorry for the confusion.
