A new cellphone by Samsung with 8 gigabytes of storage can hold about 2,000 songs.
A) How many bytes in a GB? 1,073,741,824
B) In scientific notation:
8 GB = 0.8 * 10^9
2,000= 20 * 10^11
C) About how many GB of storage does one song take up? Write your answer in scientific notation.
0.8 * 10^9 / 20 * 10^11 = 8 * 10^8 / 2 * 10^12 = 4 * 10^4 = 40,000
Am I doing this right?

correct
B) In scientific notation:
Scientific notation ia x.xx * 10Ey
8 GB = 0.8 * 10^9
2,000= 20 * 10^11
If they are asking about
1 GB 1.07E9
8 GB 8.59E9

C) About how many GB of storage does one song take up? Write your answer in scientific notation.
0.8 * 10^9 / 20 * 10^11 = 8 * 10^8 / 2 * 10^12 = 4 * 10^4 = 40,000
8.59E9/2E3 = 4.29E6
