These questions depend on my diploma! I was stupid and made bad decisions and quit school half way through my senior, i know, i know. but i'm making the effort to go back and these are some questions off my final review and its just been a while since I had algebra two and reading and doing all my lessons online isnt always enough. If anyone can help me with some these I would be so grateful!

1. Let f and g be functions such that f (0)=3 and g (0)=-1
Let h(x)=3f(x)-g(x) Then h(0)= _________?
A) 6
B)10
C) 8
D)4

2. f(x)=x^2
g(x)=x^2-x
d(x)=2x^2-x
e(x)=5-x^2
What is f(f(x))?

3. If the graph of y=f(x) is given, the graph of y=6f(x) is found by_______?
A) Compressing the given graph horizontally
B) expanding the given graph vertically
C) Compressing the given graph vertically
D) Expanding the given graph horizontally

4. The kinetic energy k of a moving particle acted on by various forces depends on quadratically on the velocity x of the particle. The particles energy is 155 ergs when its velocity is 5m/sec, 805 ergs at 10 m/sec and 1955 ergs at 15 m/sec. Write the quadratic function which fits these data:
k(x)=____________?
A) 155x^2+805x+1955
B) 10x^2+20x-195
C) 50x^2-1020x+4005
D) 10x^2-20x+5

5. Given that (-5,6) is on the graph of y=f(x), which of the following points is certain to be on the graph of y=f(1/6x)?
A) (-1,5/6)
B) (-1,5)
C) (-36,30)
D) (-36, 5)

6. Express [-9,-3] as a set using absolute value and an inequality
A) {xI1x+6I<(or equal to)3}
B) {xI1x-6I<(or equal to)3}
C) {xI1x-3I<(or equal to) 6}
D) None of the above

7. All one-to-one functions of the set of real numbers onto itself have inverse
A) False
B) True

2. f(x)=x^2
g(x)=x^2-x
d(x)=2x^2-x
e(x)=5-x^2
What is f(f(x))?

f(x) = x^2

take this and sub back into f(x) like so

f(x^2) = (x^2)^2 = (x^2)*(x^2) = x^4

so f(f(x)) = 4
