Please, I really need this answer by today (before 12 hrs from now), for my take-home-quiz..

A quadrilateral has vertices K(-1,4) L(2,2) M(0,-1) and N(-3,1). Verify that:

a) a quadrilateral is a square

b) each diagonal of the quadrilateral is the perpendicular bisector of the other diagonal

c) the diagonals of the quadrilateral are equal in length

a) There various ways of doing this. One would be to verify that all the sides have the same length (Distance Formula), that opposite sides are parallel (slope), and that intersecting sides are perpendicular (slope again).

b) Find the slopes of the lines passing through the opposite corners. Are they negative reciprocals?

c) Find the distance between the opposite corners.

Please work the question out, because I cannot understand what your saying.. I am not very good at math, and if u work this problem out, I can understand better. Thx alot

Sorry, but, no, I'm not going to do the homework for you.

Please reply showing how far you've gotten, and which part you're having trouble with. Do you not know how to plug two points into the Distance Formula? How to plug them into the slope formula? Where are you having trouble?

Thank you.

Eliz.
