i just dont remember these problems.
Show all work:

Factor completely,or state that the trinomial is prime. 2x^4+2x^3-40x^2

Factor the trinomial by grouping, or state that the trinomial is prime. 12x^2+25x+12

Factor the greatest common factor from the polynomial. Assume any variable exponents represent whole numbers. 24x^8y^9-36x^2y^6-24x^6y^3

Factor by grouping. Assume any variable exponents represent whole numbers. 4x^3-20x^2+7x-35

For the first one it's done similar to this... if you have 3x^6 + 9x^3 + 27x then that equals 3x(x^5 + 3x^2 + 9)

For the second one use the quadratic formula or use FOIL or whatever it was taught to you as. In this case you know that 12 = 3*4 or 1*12 or 2*6, just trial and error it and you'll get the answer pretty quickly.

Problem 3 is the same as problem 1.

Problem 4 I used to know a trick on how to do these but I forget. =( Trial and error and you should be able to get the answer.
