Problem: square root of 200 minus the square root of 32
I got three square root of eight as the answer.

Thanks for the help.
By the way can I do the square root sign on here, if so how do i do it?

200= 4(50)= 4(2)(25) so \(\displaystyle \sqrt{200}= \sqrt{4(2)(25)}= 2\sqrt{2}(5)= 10\sqrt{2}\). 32= 2(16) so \(\displaystyle \sqrt{32}= \sqrt{2(16)}= 4\sqrt{2}\) So \(\displaystyle \sqrt{200}- \sqrt{32}= 10\sqrt{2}- 4\sqrt{2}\). I got that \(\displaystyle \sqrt{2}\) using the Latex code [ tex ]\sqrt{2}[ /tex ]. The spaces before and after "tex" were so that you could see the code.
